Wiawaka is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, that enriches and inspires the lives of all women, while preserving our historical property and mission.We were started in1903 by women for women and continue to offer a unique, lakeside retreat with our historic property on the National Registry of Historic Places. Over 1,000 women join us each year to experience the peacefulness of our 20 acres and 1500 feet of lake frontage on beautiful Lake George. We offer over 80 programs, workshops, retreats and events all season long to enhance time spent at Wiawaka.

We celebrate artists, writers, historical lectures, community events, wellness and empowerment groups with many local, talented instructors, with creativity, inspiration and camaraderie. With the help of generous sponsors we are able to continue to support our mission and increase our outreach to include women veterans, cancer survivors, healing and wellness groups. As Wiawaka continues to grow we are excited to offer a variety of ways to support us. Be a part of our History!
