11th Annual Dock Party & Season Kick Off

June 27th, 2025 5:00pm-8:00pm

Kick-off the summer with us at our 10th Annual Dock Party featuring a fantastic lakeside meal, with wine from Adirondack Winery and beer from Adirondack Pub and Brewery. Music provided by Mack and Friends with a 50/50 raffle and wine raffle.

Eileen Egan Mack's Jazz It Up Players will bring a little night music to the summer's eve on the shores of beautiful Lake George. With Pete Toigo on bass, Ben Rau on drums and vocals, Wayne Hawkins at the keyboard, and vocalist Eileen Egan Mack, the group will add to the night's festivities as they serenade guests with some of the best jazz standards and pop tunes. The group is known for their musicality, versatility and  ability to connect with an audience. The Jazz It Up Players look forward to once again being a part of this very special occasion with friends of Wiawaka. 

Wiawaka’s Annual July 4th Family Fun BBQ

July 4th, 2025 6:00pm-10:00pm

Wiawaka friends and family are invited to our annual 4th of July Cookout & Celebration! Enjoy swimming, lawn games and other activities before our all-American BBQ at 6pm. Dinner will be followed by a campfire with S’mores. Stay for the Lake George Fireworks, we have a great view from our dock.

Day pass must be purchased if arriving before 5pm

There will be children ages 18 and younger on the property and overnight for our family fun 4th of July from July 2nd-6th, 2025. If you would like accommodation in another building or have any questions, please let us know.

Delicious Lunch at Wiawaka and Exclusive Boat Ride Fundraiser 

July 20th 12:30pm-4:00pm

Join us for an afternoon learning about the stewardship of Lake George with a Private Boat Ride on the LGA's floating classroom. You will receive a delicious lunch at Wiawaka that includes your refreshments, entree and dessert topped off with a boat ride on the floating classroom with a dedicated LGA educator. 

The boat will depart from our historic Dock promptly at 2:00 pm for an informative 2 hours learning about the Lake 's water sustainability and the efforts by the LGA to protect it. 

This is an exclusive event that will sell out quickly. There will only be 40 tickets sold!  The cost for this exclusive event is $60 per person and includes, lunch, a day pass at Wiawaka and a 2-hour boat ride on the Floating classroom. This afternoon is a treat to experience both Wiawaka and the LGA's floating classroom.

Appropriate dress: Please impress upon participants the importance of preparing for the probability of cold, windy weather on the lake. 

Afternoon Tea with Historical Guest Presentations

Come to Wiawaka for a delicious tea accompanied by a side of History!

Gem Radio Theatre will present portrayals of famous and infamous

characters that harken from the history of the Adirondacks. They include:

*A visitor to Saranac Lake with nefarious intent

*The Daughters of a radical abolitionist

*The distant relative of a famous Explorer

*An athletic thief who once hobnobbed with famous celebrities

*A surveyor who was fired from his job by Theodore Roosevelt

A delicious and fun time will be had by all!

Ladies of The Lake Luncheon

September 16th, 2024 11:30am-2:00pm at The Queensbury Hotel

Please join us for our popular annual Ladies of the Lake Luncheon. This event will be held at the Queensbury Hotel. There will be a delicious luncheon with music, presentations of the Mary Fuller Women Helping Women Award and our Spirit of Wiawaka Award, along with our popular silent auction and raffles. This is our premier fundraiser of the year!
