Building Choices

Fuller House

Named after Mary Fuller, our founder, Fuller House is an exquisite 3-story Victorian House.  Guest rooms are available on the second floor and our third floor is home to staff during the season. Wiawaka’s dining room is located on the first floor of Fuller. (Sleeps 6)

Wakonda Lodge

Before Yaddo, Wakonda was the original artist retreat of Katrina Trask.  Guests often wish to stay in this building because of the fact that Georgia O’Keeffe was one of the students on record of spending time there.  Artist groups today still choose Wakonda and enjoy the rustic Adirondack feel with a spectacular view of the lake. (Sleeps 11)

Mayflower and Rose Cottages

There are two lake side cottages that are filled with bright, cozy rooms. Single and double rooms are available. These buildings are favorites to those who love the screened wrap-around porches, doll-house style and close proximity to Fuller House. (Mayflower sleeps 15, Rose sleeps 9)

Lake House

Known for its massive two story screened porch, Lake House is the most popular building on site.  There are single rooms that open up onto breezeways overlooking the boathouse.  The rooms are a simple lodge style.  Lake House is a short walk to the Wiawaka dock and swimming area, the campfire area, screened gazebo and House of Trix.  Lake House is typically used by groups who want the privacy of having the entire building and large screened porch to themselves.
