Belly Dancing on the Dock

Every Wednesday (weather permitting)  7-8 pm

Belly dance is a fun way to exercise your core. Lisa Bohannon will lead participants in this great workout.  All levels are welcome to attend. Class may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Please call in advance if you are unsure. Reservations are not required but recommended, as class size is limited.

Yoga (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

GOOD MORNING, YOGA!

Breathe, stretch, refresh, and energize during this gentle session while engaging your 5 senses with all that nature offers. The first 45 minutes incorporates Hatha yoga, an ancient system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Spend the next 15 minutes being guided through a Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra meditation where the only requirement is to sit or lie down and listen. All will lead you to peace in mind and body. Comfortable for beginners and all levels of practice.  Some yoga mats, straps and blocks are available.

Class size is limited.

Yoga classes will be on the dock (weather permitting).

Yoga Classes are $10. Free for overnight guests and Platinum Pass holders.

Purchase a Day Pass for $15 and enjoy Wiawaka all day long.

Join Kathy Porcell, owner of Elevation Pilates in Glens Falls for an hour of pilates.  All levels welcome. Learn the fundamentals of the Pilates classical systematic series of exercises.  Designed for Pilates beginners and mat enthusiasts alike.   Always challenging, effective and fun!  Mat work is the foundation of the Pilates Method. Increase core strength.
Improve posture and flexibility.

Classes will be in the House of Trix unless otherwise noted.

Sacred Self Yoga
Stacey Morris is a self-described Recovering American who, for 10 years, has maintained a 150-pound weight loss. After struggling with weight and self-esteem issues for most of her life, Stacey’s life turned around when she gave up dieting, began listening to her body, and took up the practice of DDPYOGA, a cardio form of yoga which incorporates muscle toning and stretching. Stacey’s brand of ‘Sacred Self Yoga’ combines the DDPYOGA Level 1 workout with elements with her wellness philosophy of self-acceptance, body awareness, and creating healthy techniques to deal with stress and other challenges life sometimes presents.

The yoga class will conclude with a relaxation meditation – the perfect way to physically rejuvenate and emotionally recharge for the weekend!
