Thank you for visiting!
Wiawaka has been enriching the lives of women for over a century through unique and relevant programming in a peaceful and historic setting on beautiful Lake George.
We just completed our 118th season with record numbers of women attending our programs and utilizing our facility. We welcomed back many long time guests and also embraced a large number of new guests who discovered Wiawaka this year.
Here’s what one of our new guests had to say…
“I wanted to thank you again for the scholarship that made it possible for me and my daughter to spend some time at Wiawaka. It was a wonderful respite for us. I have been struggling with a number of serious medical issues and being in such a beautiful place, with such delicious and healthy meals, at the side of the gorgeous lake, was a healing experience in the midst of great stress.”
We need your help…
Financial contributions from individuals are crucial to the ongoing operation of Wiawaka which includes the preservation of this historic property and enhancement of our current programs and facilities. As more and more women discover and come to Wiawaka our historic buildings and limited program and dining space become more evident. We are in need of building upgrades, additional space, staff development, all of which post a financial burden to a small nonprofit organization. We have set a goal to raise $10,000 this fall in an effort to support Wiawaka’s continued commitment to providing the opportunity for women, both locally and internationally, a safe, comfortable, and thriving retreat center.
Our Board of Directors is committed to this challenge and have all already made contributions to this appeal. Join them in supporting this very worthy cause.
