Wiawaka Center for Women will hold its annual Ladies of the Lake Luncheon, at the newly renovated Queensbury Hotel, Adirondack Ballroom on Monday, September 12th, from 11:30 – 2:00 pm.
Wiawaka, created by and for women in 1903 by Mary Fuller and Katrina Trask, is the oldest and longest continuously operating retreat center for women in America. The Mary Fuller, Women Helping Women Award, goes to a local woman who has made a positive impact in the lives of women throughout our communities.
Wiawaka is proud to announce the recipient of this year’s award to Dr. Colleen
from the Hudson Headwaters Health Network, (HHHN). Dr. Quinn has worked for HHHN since 2013 and primarily cares for patients at West Mountain Family Health in Queensbury.

As Medical Education & Wellness Chief, Dr. Quinn’s work impacts more than nine hundred employees and 100,000 patients from Saratoga County to the Canadian border—an area of approximately 7,200 square miles.
In addition to elevating the health of women and their families throughout our region, Dr. Quinn has been instrumental in providing opportunities for her colleagues and students.
With a passion to sustain a high-quality physician workforce throughout our communities, Dr. Quinn has secured several grants to address the mental health challenges of health-care workers, along with funding that has supported the development of team care at HHHN. Wiawaka invites the local community to attend and congratulate Dr. Quinn on her impressive achievements.

Wiawaka Center for Women is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to enriching the lives of women through healing, wellness, learning and art.
Since the early 1900s, artists, including Georgia O’Keeffe, have spent summers
painting on Wiawaka’s beautiful lakeside grounds.
The annual luncheon raises funds for scholarships, programming, maintenance and restoration of this historic property located on the south side of the eastern shores of Lake George.
Tickets can be purchased online at wiawaka.org and sell out quickly.
